Kudos to Rep. Barney Frank

Rep. Frank's upstanding and immediate behavior to Eason Jordan's irresponsibly false comments at the World Economic Forum (stating that the US targets journalists for death) was quite important in propelling the story. Frank acted even though he's known as one of the more left Democrats in Congress (he's openly gay, for one), and so he deserves recognition for not ignoring the comment and letting it slide a little longer for petty political reasons.

I also wanted to add that Barney Frank was tied in 2002 with four other Representatives for the most economically efficient (read: pro-market) votes in the Democratic caucus. Although that only equated to a good vote just under half the time, he still outscored a good hundred or so Republicans.

Barney Frank: he's not too horrible.
